Impact windows in Coral Springs, FL
Coral Springs was built fast in the 1970s through the 1990s, and many of those windows are reaching the end of their life. We install impact windows and doors built for Broward's High-Velocity Hurricane Zone and file the city's retrofit packet.

A planned city, block by block
Coral Springs was master-planned from 1963 and reached residential build-out in 2003. The median home was built in 1987, about 60% are owner-occupied, and about 42% are in multi-unit buildings like townhomes and low-rise condos.

What Coral Springs checks
Coral Springs uses its own Form 015.1, the Retrofit of Windows and Doors Submittal Packet, revised February 2025, which tells applicants to review the Broward Board of Rules and Appeals interpretation for retrofits first. The packet requires an ink-only floor plan sketch showing every opening, each labeled with a letter or number that matches the product approval pages. Altering any opening size requires a signed and sealed detail from an engineer or architect. Since January 1, 2026, the Building Department no longer processes paper submittals, and paper is converted to electronic format for a fee, so we file through eTrakit. The city has few tall buildings, and its tallest, the 12-story Country Club Tower condominium, is one of the few that need site-specific engineered pressures.
