Impact windows in Hollywood, FL
Hollywood is where our shop is. From 1950s block homes in Hollywood Hills to beach condos on the Intracoastal, we install impact windows and doors built for Broward's High-Velocity Hurricane Zone and pull the City of Hollywood permit for you.
Neighborhoods we serve
Every corner of Hollywood
Half of Hollywood's homes were built before 1970, and about half of its housing sits in multi-unit buildings. That mix of original-window houses and condo towers is what we work on every week.

What the City of Hollywood checks
Hollywood runs its own Building Division, and its window and door checklist asks for more than most cities. Every permit needs the Broward Uniform Permit Application, a numbered floor plan, a Miami-Dade NOA or Florida Product Approval for each unit, and the Broward retrofit window and door schedule. Near the beach, properties on the Coastal Construction Control Line need sea-turtle glass on openings that face east, north, or south. In the four local historic districts, including Hollywood Lakes and the Beach district, new windows must keep the size, shape, and location of the old openings or go to historic review. Since August 4, 2026 every new application is filed through the city's Accela portal, and we handle that filing for you.
“David showed up at appointment time. Very cordial. Explained options to me on what he would do to fix my sliding door . Was very thorough and fixed my issue . Would definitely call again.”
FAQ
Hollywood questions
Local permitting, HOA rules, and the right ratings, we handle it all.
Call (954) 884-8224Do I need sea-turtle glass in Hollywood?
Only if your property is on the Coastal Construction Control Line near the beach. There, the city's checklist requires glass with at least 45% visible light transmittance on openings that face east, north, or south. We check your address before we quote.
I live in Hollywood Lakes. Can I change my window sizes?
Hollywood Lakes is a local historic district. If the new windows keep the same size, shape, and location, the permit plans just note that. Any change goes to the city's historic review, so we plan for it up front.
Who pulls the Hollywood permit?
We do. Since August 4, 2026 the City of Hollywood takes new applications through its Accela portal, and the contractor must be registered with the Building Division. We file, schedule inspections, and give you the final paperwork. Permit fees are separate and itemized on your quote.
My condo is over 30 feet tall. Is that different?
Yes. For buildings with a roof height over 30 feet, Hollywood requires signed and sealed wind loads for that specific building. Lower homes can use the Broward County wind load chart. We arrange the engineering when it is needed.
How far are you from my home?
