What the Town of Palm Beach Shores checks

Palm Beach Shores does not accept the Palm Beach County universal permit application, so the town's own form is required. You submit two copies of plans, specs, or NOAs, plus the contractor-owner agreement showing the job value, which sets the permit fee. Contractors and subs must register, and inspections are scheduled through MGO. Jobs valued over $5,000 need a Construction Site Management Acknowledgment under Ordinance O-6-25. Construction is allowed Monday through Saturday, 8 am to 5 pm from October to April and 8 am to 6 pm from May to September.

FAQ

Palm Beach Shores questions

Local permitting, HOA rules, and the right ratings, we handle it all.

Call (954) 884-8224
Is Palm Beach Shores in the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone?

No. The HVHZ covers only Broward and Miami-Dade. Palm Beach Shores is in Palm Beach County's wind-borne debris region, so every window and door needs Florida Product Approval or a Miami-Dade NOA. The county wind map puts Palm Beach Shores between the 160 and 170 mph lines, and we design to 170.

Can you use the county permit application here?

No. Palm Beach Shores requires its own town application. We file it with two copies of the NOAs and the contract. Permit fees are separate.

What hours can you work in Palm Beach Shores?

Monday through Saturday, 8 am to 5 pm from October to April and 8 am to 6 pm from May to September. We schedule inside those hours.

What is the Construction Site Management Acknowledgment?

A form required under Ordinance O-6-25 for jobs valued over $5,000. We complete it with your permit.
